Mindfulness in everyday life

There are many times and situations during everyday life that can be great opportunities to increase both our physical and mental health and well-being by being mindful, present, and aware - right now - right here - with all our senses and our consciousness.
Eating
The stomach is filled slowly, moderately, and with sensitivity to what it needs to nourish, strengthen, and power you for the day.
Bathing
A time of sensory pleasure, calmness, warmth, refreshment, and self-care
Exercise and movement
Your body, which is your companion throughout this life, deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for. It moves, oxygenates, strengthens, balances, and recovers.
Breathing
A breath filled with aliveness, faith, and trust on the inhale and surrender, devotion, and being on the exhale.
Sleep
Everything is turned inwards for a long and wonderful break to clear the brain, process emotions, and revitalize the organs. Tomorrow is a new day.
Relationships
Where we see each other fully and feel the essence, the soul that is here to love and be loved.
The sense of time disappears - You sense more than you think - You sense that you sense - Even small impressions and details are experienced - You are delighted by small things - You may feel more energy and love - You do one or a only few things at a time.
You are not mindful: - When you are mostly focused on the goal and not the process. - When your mind wanders into the past or future. - When you are restless. - When you are physically present but your mind is somewhere else entirely.
