Health
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health is defined as follows:

"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity."
Health is not just about being free from disease or disability. It is also not just about diet and exercise and does not necessarily have much to do with the number you see when you step onto the bathroom scale.
Health is about both physical and mental health or complete physical, mental, and social well-being.
Physical health
Our physical health is closely linked to our lifestyle, including:
- Diet
- Smoking
- Alcohol
- Exercise
And if the KRAM factors were invented today, they would be too:
- Sleep
should have been part of the overview.
Physical health is, among other things, about moderation, i.e., refraining from drinking too much alcohol and eating unhealthy food, but this does not necessarily mean that you should avoid it completely.
It is important to be aware that a high level of physical health is not something you can buy through a "quick fix" by, for example, taking a dietary supplement or eating lots of blueberries or spinach. Instead, it is about having a high baseline level within each of the different lifestyle factors.
Psychological/mental health
One of the biggest threats to our health and well-being right now is the rising prevalence of poor mental health, especially with many young people developing disorders such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
According to the WHO, mental health is a state of mental well-being in which an individual can develop their abilities, cope with everyday challenges and stress, and engage with others. Mental health is more than just the absence of mental disorders or mental illness.
It is therefore important that you also take care of and nurture your psychological or mental health or mental "well-being" in the same way that you focus on your physical health. You can do this by addressing and preventing the development of stress, anxiety, and depression, which you have already started to do in sessions 3 and 4 of the program.
At the same time, it's important to take good care of yourself and do something good for yourself, as both have an impact on your mental health, quality of life, and overall well-being.
