The experiences with MY-ENDO
The effects of MY-ENDO have been examined in a face-to-face group-based intervention program for women with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. We found that participants experienced a significantly improved quality of life and an increased ability to work after completing the 10 sessions. In addition, we saw an increased sense of control over pain, increased emotional well-being, better social relationships, and greater pain acceptance.
However, as it is time-consuming to travel and physically attend treatment once a week for a period of 10 weeks, we now want to test the program as a digitally delivered endometriosis management program.
You will therefore be able to sit at home in your own living room and relax when you open up the program.

You will be guided through the content of the sessions week by week by the various digital materials available to you within the program, and you will continue to have access to the program for six months after completion. From research abroad, we know that internet-based treatment programs can be just as effective as face-to-face treatment programs. The advantage of offering you an online treatment program is that you don't have to plan to travel but instead, you can sit in your own home and participate at a time that suits you best.
This is the first time we are testing the treatment program online, and you are therefore participating in the first major scientific research project to investigate the impact of MY-ENDO (digital). We hope that you will benefit greatly from the process. At the same time, your participation and experience will help us to secure and further develop the program so that we can offer the best possible support and complementary treatment for women with endometriosis in the future.
