The content of the program
The content of the MY-ENDO program is built around a number of different themes, in a carefully selected order, all related to the disease endometriosis. The first half deals with managing endometriosis, pain, and stress. This is followed by dealing with difficult emotions, thoughts, worries, anxiety, depression, and grief.
In the second half of the program, we work with what is important and valuable to each of us in our lives. The focus is on identity, meaning, everyday life, relationships, family life, work life, and friendships. This is followed by themes on health, diet, and exercise before we end the program by focusing on the direction we want to take in the future to live as much as possible in line with our values.
Mindfulness, meditation, and yoga
As the program moves through the different themes, you will engage in different ways with mindfulness, meditation, and yoga in relation to the different themes.

You will gain thorough experience with a few basic mindfulness practices and selected yoga exercises. However, you will also have the opportunity to work with more different exercises if you wish to, and you can get inspiration on how to develop a more formal mindfulness practice and greater presence in everyday activities and in your relationships.
The course starts with a focus on the body and moves on to a focus on the breath and how you can use breathing techniques to work with how to manage e.g., pain, stress, or sleep problems.
From here we move towards defusion of the heavier emotional states such as anxiety, depression, and grief. The course also covers compassion - how we can become more compassionate with ourselves and others, and it moves into more existential themes such as identity, meaning, and value-based action.
Remember to be both open and patient with new exercises. You may find that some work better for you than others. Then choose to focus on what works best for you. After the course, you will have concrete tools that you can use to handle the challenges you will face now and in the future as a consequence of endometriosis.
